Mailing Winter 2025-2026
Le Journal du Vallon
Dear friends, dear campers,
The end of the year is approaching, and everyone is getting ready for Christmas and celebrations with family and friends. Some are already thinking about next year.
This season was different but also very pleasant. Apart from the high season, which was not very good, the months of June and September were wonderful. There is a particular phenomenon that has been occurring in the south for the past few years. It seems that there has been a decline in family attendance. During the high season, there are far fewer people than in previous years, and this is also noticeable in naturist campsites.
What is the cause of this? Do younger generations no longer like camping? Is it perhaps a change in our society? Is it too hot for some people? Although heat is not really a reason, since it has always been hot in the south of France during the summer.
For this winter, we have decided to renovate two more mobile homes and transform them into more comfortable rentals for just two people, with one bedroom with a large bed, a large kitchen and a beautiful bathroom with a toilet. The project is underway and will be a surprise for May! We have also undertaken major renovation work on the stone buildings on the campsite!
It is not possible to list everything as the list would be long, but a campsite requires a lot of work every year.
This year, we were again fortunate to have a group of friends who gave their all for Le Vallon. Thanks to them and their efforts, we started the season peacefully, without stress and with a smile. Thank you to them, they are very dear to us!
We wish you all a merry and warm Christmas with your loved ones.
May the new year begin well and brightly. Happy New Year 2026 ! See you next year !
Yours sincerely,
LES FAMILLES DU VALLON
Amanda, Camille, Yoel, Romain et les enfants.
Message from the office
Message from the Office,
I had the chance to experience unforgettable moments at the campsite, rich in encounters that will remain etched in my memory. All this is thanks to you! I can finally put faces to your names.
I would also like to inform you about bookings: last year, we were fully booked in June and September. These periods have been particularly popular for several years now. If you are planning to return this summer, I encourage you to book as soon as possible to guarantee your place.
Many customers have already made a pre-booking for the coming season. We have contacted you by email to check that your details are still correct. In January 2026, we will confirm bookings by email. If you have made a pre-booking and have not heard from us by mid-January, please contact us.
Please remember to read our terms and conditions. We do not offer refunds or cancellation insurance. It is your responsibility to make your own arrangements.
I hope you also had a wonderful time and are looking forward to returning to the campsite next summer.

Amanda’s personal message
When we reach this time of year when the weather is cold and our homes are warm and cosy, many of us reflect on the year that has passed, with its good and bad moments, and the trials and tribulations that each of us has faced. We think of all those loved ones and friends who have left us, whom we miss here on Earth.
I am taking the time to write all this because it is important sometimes to stop for a few minutes to think about it and realise that we need to slow down our pace of life from time to time. Here in Le Vallon, we have met so many people. We become attached to those who come back very often, even every year. I wanted to thank you all. I realise that it is something incredible, it is a joy to see you again!
I also realise that life demands a lot of our energy every day and when you arrive here in the valley to spend your holidays, some of you are exhausted and need to unwind and reconnect with yourselves. The setting we are in allows for this, as you find yourself surrounded by nature, birds and silence under the warm sun. And there, something powerful happens: you feel the emptiness within you and you begin to relax. Welcome to our paradise on Earth, ‘Le Vallon des Oiseaux’.
